Texas All Creatures Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in North Central Texas. As a foster-based rescue, we rely on the incredible support of our volunteers, who generously open their homes and hearts to animals in need.

 

Unfortunately, Texas lacks comprehensive pet ownership regulations, leading to a severe pet overpopulation crisis and an overwhelming number of homeless animals. In some areas, the situation is even more dire, with dogfighting posing a significant threat. People actively seek out dogs for fighting or to use as bait, exacerbating the cruelty these animals face. Until local governments take action to change legislation, this heartbreaking issue will persist.
